01 / ENTRANCES
Consider suitable opening detection for selected access points.
02 / INSIDE
Plan around room layouts, movement patterns, pets and part-arming requirements.
03 / OUTSIDE
Assess approaches, mounting locations and environmental conditions before choosing detectors.
04 / UNDERSTAND
Discuss compatible cameras, recording and photo-verification options to help assess events.

Choose the right approach
The right approach depends on the building, access for cabling and the equipment required. We assess those conditions before recommending a system.
Existing wiring or detectors may be reusable in some installations. Compatibility and condition need checking first.
Selected Brisbane projects
Examples from completed work show how the system design changes with the property and the equipment already in place.

Bardon · Existing alarm upgrade
We incorporated existing wired motion detectors into an Ajax installation using a MultiTransmitter, alongside new Ajax detection, leak sensors and gate/garage control relays. Separate Hikvision CCTV work formed part of the project.
The design lesson: assess compatibility before replacing every component.

Carindale · Outdoor detection
We installed Ajax outdoor motion and curtain detection, an external siren and relays for gate/garage control. Follow-up work included detector positioning, sensitivity adjustments, user settings and customer guidance.
The design lesson: vegetation, approaches and daily use matter as much as device selection.

Questions worth discussing
We can discuss suitable part-arming arrangements based on the devices selected and the areas you want to secure.
Detector choice and positioning need to account for your pets and their movement. Tell us about them during the assessment.
Backup operation depends on the hub, communication paths, batteries and connected equipment. We explain the proposed arrangement and its limitations.
Expansion depends on compatibility, system capacity, power and connectivity. Tell us your future plans so we can allow for them where practical.
Device quantities, property layout, access, outdoor coverage, recording requirements and communication options all affect the scope. Your quotation identifies the proposed work and optional additions.
